Details and stuff:

As a bareboat charter, your charter fee shown includes private use of the yacht totally under your control and that of the approved Captain/crew you hire. Use is subject to the booking platform agreement and the Marquis Charters agreement you sign.

Please note that per federal and state law, on a bareboat charter all running costs are your decisions and responsibility and are paid separately by you in addition to your charter fee -- these include Captain, required crew, food, beverages, ice, fuel, port fees and other staff you might choose such as a chef, caregiver, and shoreside transportation. The Captain Fee, if shown in checkout process, is an estimate that includes a Captain and the required Crew. Send along a booking inquiry message through this platform and we will quickly work with you to understand the type of trip you envision and give you a very accurate estimate of total costs based on your plans.

After your trip is finished, you'll get a full accounting of all the actuals.

If you'd like an estimate, you can use $1000 for Captain and crew for three or four hours and budget about $175 an hour for fuel. Of course, that varies based on what you exactly plan for your trip.

Gratuity is customary but not included in your fee. It is up to you to decide at the end of the trip depending on how you liked your service. On our Charters, customers typically tip 20%, +/-5%.

Pickup and drop off locations can be round trip or one way and can include: Alameda, Oakland, Redwood City, South San Francisco, San Francisco waterfront, Sausalito, Tiburon, Emeryville, Berkeley, Richmond, San Rafael, Petaluma, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, Pittsburg, Rio Vista, Sacrament0, Stockton, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey.

Your charter may be customized any way you desire and confirm everything when your Agreement is signed.

Final Note: If this platform does not collect your required Sales Tax at the time of booking, we must collect it at the dock. Sales tax on chartering this yacht is 9.25% of the base charter fee. Also note that booking platforms such as this may add a service fee for using them to book your trip. Sales tax and booking fees are outside of our control.
