DISHONEST AND UNRESPONSIVE BOAT OWNER!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Stefano - the boat owner is responsive until you book and he has your money. After that, it is very difficult to get in touch with him. On the day of my 6-hour trip, he sent a message via Sailo to inform me that he "had an issue" with the boat and that my trip would be delayed 2 hrs from 2pm to 4pm. Even though he and the captain had my phone number, he did very little to contact me to let me know there was an issue. After speaking to the captain and first mate, it seems as though the morning trip went over and as a result, the owner decided to inconvenience me and push back my trip. You know something is off when the captain is giving you his card for future bookings when he hears your complaints about the owner.
He advertises kayaks and swimming platform - it is non-existent. He advertises luxury towels. We had hand towels and even this was limited. Apparently, all the towels were used up in the morning trip and never replenished. He advertised 20 speakers - they're there but they were not working. There was just a single large speaker.
I tried several times to contact Stefano during the day but he never answered my calls. He offered (via Sailo messaging) to reimburse me for an hour via Zelle of which I have not received yet.
All of this went down and he knew that I was unhappy and has made no effort to reach out to me to offer an apology or make amends. Stefano is a con man who is only interested in getting your money and not interested in customer service. To think that Sailo allows him to fool unassuming customers who are paying a very hefty price for trips is scary. I will not be using Sailo again. And if you want to get value for your money I suggest you use someone who has posted pictures of actual people in the advertised amenities and has a lot of reviews.
Don't get fooled by Stefano's 7 reviews (I just realized this but none of those reviews has pictures of a person) There are better, honest people out there who are interested in customer service and will give you value for your money. I feel robbed. Don't fall into this trap!

We had an absolutely amazing time!!! Gerhard and Captain Mark made sure the experience was five stars throughout the trip. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a day out at sea.
