Soo's group were great guests--easy to communicate with and left the boat in excellent condition. They are all welcome back.

The dock location changed from the agreed upon location to a place 5 miles up river, adding over an hour of time to get to
out to the ocean, meaning we had 1 less hour to hang out in the water. The owner lied to us about the location change and the coast guard mandate, plenty of docks in the area were open rent, including the dock at my building in Brickell.
The boat changed, which we didn't find out until we showed up to the dock. The boat was a smaller boat, so the 8 of us didn't have room to spread out. Also, the boat wasn't cleaned after the last use, so the storage compartments were full of old food, drinks, and alcohol, so we had to keep our bags in the walkway of the boats and on the seats, making the smaller boat even smaller. The captain didn't ask us if we were comfortable with him not wearing a mask and tried to get me to sign a contract without letting me read the contract. We told the captain we wanted to go to monument key, he lied and said the police had it blocked off. Instead, he took us to a crowded place where a festival was going on and he anchored where his friends were anchored on another boat then took a jet ski over to his friends boat. When he came back he started smoking onboard. When we got back to the dock (after a 50 minute trip up river), it was low tide, so there was a 6 foot jump from the boat to the dock. The captain didn't have a ladder for us to climb onto the dock. Instead he wanted us to illegally climb onto a stranger's boat and then make the 4 foot jump from that boat to the dock.

This was an extremely frustrating experience. It is clear the owner is fine with lying, changing agreed upon details last minute, and does not take safety as a primary concern. Additionally, the captain is unprofessional and also not concerned with safety.

I recommend going with any other owner if you care about getting what you agree upon and if you care about honesty and safety.
