BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK THIS BOAT!!
Prior to our trip, I called the boat owner (Stefano) to ask about what the boat had such as plates, cups, utensils, napkins, etc. to determine what we had to bring ourselves. During the call, Stefano assured that the boat had all the essentials and that all we had to bring was the food and drinks. Additionally, Stefano told me that we would be receiving a captain (Tony) and a steward that would serve us drinks and food. Stefano said that we just bring the food/drinks, and then we sit back and enjoy as the steward will be serving us.
It seems like the only one sitting back and enjoying was the "steward". First of all, the "steward" didn't serve us anything! All that he did was sit back, eat our food without permission, dance to our music, and clean up if something spilled. We were not served a single drink or piece of food as promised by Stefano.
Next, we asked the "steward" where we could get napkins, and he gave us 2 napkins for our party of 12. When we asked him for more, he said he could not find any. At that point, the captain (Tony) came to us and started yelling at us saying that he only had 2 napkins and it was not his job to provide that for us. We told Tony that Stefano told us that the boat would have napkins, and he said that it doesn't matter what Stefano says because "this is my boat." He was yelling loudly and was very degrading. It was clear that the boat owner and captain are not on the same page.
Bottom line, the owner told us one thing, however we did not receive what he said we would. Then, after the trip, I emailed, called, and texted Stefano to discuss our concerns, and he completely ignored me.
Think twice before you book this boat!
This was an amazing trip… Yasss One of the best by far… My Family And I Enjoyed ourselves. Avi was so on point with everything and the captain Drew was the best. We really enjoyed the whole experience and the hospitality. Every view was breathtaking as we live in NYC for such a long time and yet never seen the city this way. Avi was able to book me last min (the morning of) and I was on the boat a few hours later. Now that’s how you make a client a future client for life. The boat itself was beautiful and very safe. We really appreciated every moment. Thank you Avi For everything..
Tamara was a pleasure to host. They were responsive, kind, and made reasonable requests. We would be happy to have them again!
