everything was perfect. the boat was clean and very spacious. Nicanor and Suset were the best. They prepped all our food & beverages, they even had the few things that we had forgotten. We were able to play our own music which was awesome. They were very accommodating and made the day a great experience. We will definitely be booking with them again when we come back.

The weather in the afternoon was supposed to be extremely iffy The chances of severe thunderstorms.
We sailed down under the Verrazano and over to the western side of Coney Island Beach after sailing on the outside for an hour. We anchored and had pizzas and drinks and swim in the water.
I was getting concerned with pop-up thunderstorms as there was nothing near us on the radar coming our way.
No sooner did I ask everyone to reboard the boat and get the ladder up and flotation devices back aboard did we have a weather alarm go off on the radio telling us that we were in the middle of a severe thunderstorm watch affecting all of our area.
As we were on our way the watch turned into warning and we could see tremendous build ups turning from puffy clouds to dark clouds to black with severe lightning all around.
I briefed everyone else to the procedure should we get caught out there in the gust front and or wind.
Please forward for a technical IT people and I could relate the weather radar and everything else to them.
I believe there was a good chance we could make it back to the dock at the liberty lending marina before the gas front hit
Within a few minutes of backing into the slip and securing the boat was too dark house at the marina across from tits and I do believe eight minutes later after they were in their cars the actual raining downpoured.
We will definitely be doing this again and I have to say we did really well with all engaged first in learning to sail during the morning and then partaking in the planning of avoiding weather.
I strongly recommend this crew to anyone Who has the privilege of having them aboard.
They left the boat immaculate!
