We had a great time with Derrick as captain for a family sailing trip in Sag Harbor. We had to reschedule our trip due to Tropical Storm Henri and Derrick readily accommodated us for a new sailing date. When our trip started it was quite hot and so he delivered us quickly to a cool and refreshing swimming spot near a scenic bluff. Wind speed was very low so he motored us for awhile. But then, voila! the wind speed increased and Derrick opened up the majestic sails on his wonderful boat. We sailed towards the open waters and had a beautiful sunset trip back to shore, enjoying the views while lounging on the front and back of the boat. Our family trip included my 81 year old mother and 91 year old stepfather and Derrick patiently and adeptly helped them on/off the boat from the Tender and using a ladder for swimming. He was engaged and friendly throughout the sail. We had a superb and memorable journey on the water with Derrick. Highly recommend him and his boat for your sailing plans!
