Great day with a great captain and a great 1st mate!
Both of them were very professional.
I tried to make the best of it, but the trip was a disaster before we left the dock. The day before my trip, I asked Alejandra’s assistant was there anything I need to know or do before we departed the next day. She informed there was nothing further to do but show up and pay the captain for his time and the gas fee. However, it was a different story when I arrived. I was supposed to receive a “Docusign” waiver via email prior to arriving to the dock, unfortunately they didn’t send the waiver to my email until 30mins after we were supposed to leave. I order a jet ski as well but it wasn’t there when I arrived, the boat owner nor the captain seemed to have any prior knowledge of me requesting a jet ski at all. I wasn’t informed that I needed to bring my drivers license, debit card, and a boating license to rent a jet ski. Luckily for me I was smart enough to bring my wallet! I didn’t have a boating license prior, so it took about another 20 mins to “apply” for a boating license online. All while on the open water with little to no cell reception, & waiting to ride the jet ski. The captain was some 21 year old stoner who was high on pot when we arrived. The captain was taking shots of tequila w/ my guest and smoking a marijuana cigar while the boat owner was below deck. It was my 1st time aboard a boat, Alejandra never discussed any rules, safety concerns, or simply how to operate the restroom. The ship was poorly maintained, there are nails sticking out of the carpet right before the stairs, the door handle to one of the bedrooms fell off the door when I turned it. Alejandra never discussed how to operate the restroom or that she had a plug in the toilet, this caused an embarrassing moment when a guest used the restroom with the plug still in the toilet. The guest was forced to clean the toilet & remove the plug to properly drain the toilet. Alejandra checked the restroom after the guest and ensured me everything was ok. Alejandra was the last person in the restroom. All of the guest, including me, were off her boat for about 15-20mins. Right before I was about to leave she had the captain run to my car to show me a picture of the toilet seat being damaged. She claims a plastic screw in the toilet set was broken. However, it was noted by several guest that she was the last one in the restroom & these claimed of damage come after she said everything was ok in the restroom earlier. I am currently disputing the manages with sailo due to the fact she never walked thru the ship with me to access any prior damage. I never used the restroom myself. I let Alejandra borrow my iPhone charger it’s valued at about $100, I never seen it after loaning it to her, she claims she lost it. I brought cups, plates, napkins & other party favors aboard, Alejandra stored my excess party favors in her cabinets without my permission.
