Matthew and his party were excellent guests. We had a nice afternoon sea breeze, which staved off the heat of the day. Matthew was steady at the helm and the others enjoyed the ride from the cockpit or the foredeck. Another, sail without use of an engine was finished with the sun nearly setting.

Venus was a pleasure to have aboard. Unfortunately her small dog was not well, but she took care of him as we gently sailed around the bay and discussed many things. Venus was learning steer the boat as well, and was determined to become proficient.

Russel and his party were good guests. The two couples enjoyed a very sporty sail on a hot windy afternoon. Plenty of spray over the bow and a swim stop off Jessups Neck helped keep everyone cool. Um, maybe there were some white knuckles sailing upwind, but the easy downwind sail home finished a great Sunday afternoon sail.
