We had a wonderful trip! Captain Matt was subbing for David and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would recommend to others looking for a great activity on the water.
I'm an avid boater and this is the 2nd time using Sailo to book. The owner of the vessel was great with response time and even threw in a bottle of champagne when booked same day. The captain, Jorge, and first mate Molly were ok. They were courteous and professional but we had a discrepancy with our trip. It took him an hour to sail to our destination when we knew it usually takes 30 minutes or less. We booked for 4 hours (12-4) and asked if we could leave the water at 4 instead of 3 since he takes an hour to sail
The request was denied.
Additionally we were handed the comp bottle of champagne after we docked and were leaving the vessel. When I mentioned that it would have been nice to receive this at the beginning of our trip...my comments were met with silence.
To anyone booking please ensure you account for 2 hours of travel as part of your booking if Haulover sandbar is your destination.
It was a great ride! I would definitely book again.
