I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with Carlos and his yacht rental service, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn potential renters.

I booked a 70ft yacht for a special occasion through Carlos, and from the beginning, the experience was marked by misleading information and false promises. Initially, I was told the yacht would be located at the Miami Beach Marina, which was perfect for our plans. However, just before our booking, I received last-minute instructions stating that the yacht was now on the Miami River due to repairs at the Miami Beach Marina.

To make matters worse, I received a message from someone named Felix (not the boat owner) on the day of our booking. Felix claimed to be coordinating the trip for Carlos and informed me that the original yacht had engine problems. He assured me that there was another yacht, newer and of the same size, waiting for us just across the street from the other marina. I specifically asked about the availability of the jet ski and water toys, and Felix promised that everything I originally booked would be provided.

However, upon arriving at the location with my guests, I was shocked and disappointed to find a yacht that was significantly smaller than the one I had reserved. Moreover, there was no jet ski or any of the water toys we had been promised. This blatant disparity between what was promised and what was delivered was not only frustrating but also completely unacceptable.

My experience with Carlos and his service left me feeling deceived and utterly dissatisfied. It is essential for potential renters to be aware of these issues to avoid similar disappointments. I strongly caution anyone considering booking with Carlos to exercise caution and thoroughly confirm all details before proceeding. Trust and credibility are paramount in this industry, and unfortunately, this experience fell short on both fronts.

In light of my experience, I recommend exploring other yacht rental options that prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction. Carlos's service failed to meet the basic expectations of a customer, and I hope that sharing this review will prevent others from encountering a similar situation.
