Description

The catamaran is an 11.5-meter sailing catamaran which is provided complete with a captain and crew with extensive experience sailing the waters around Bali and East Indonesia.

This boat was designed by Mark Pescott to be both fast and luxurious. Performing very well under sail regularly doing speeds of 10-15 knots but also with 2x 21HP diesel engines to reliably get you where you want to go in the days without favorable winds.

Day trips, half day trips, and sunset trips, 4/5 day trips to the Gili Islands, Surfing trips to Sumbawa or trips to the Komodo National Park. You tell us what you want to do and we can make it happen.

The vessel can sleep 5-6 guests plus crew comfortably for overnight charters and is licensed for up to 16 people for day trips. Guests can access the sea, fishing gear, snorkeling gear, the sound system and TV and DVD player.

We have 2 separate double cabins with doors. One cabin has a king sized bed and private ensuite. The second cabin has a double bed and a separate single berth. There are a total of 2 toilets, 2 hot/cold indoor showers and an outdoor shower for use to rinse off after swimming.

For trips where catering is provided our chef will be cooking up wonderful dishes to delight your taste buds. Food freshly cooked onboard and enough to satisfy any appetite. With our large capacity freezer and refrigerator, you can expect choice meats and seafood, fresh salads and vegetable dishes, desserts, fruits and snacks. With advanced notice, we will cater to any specific dietary needs.

All your electrical needs are taken care of with our 2000 watt inverter so without the use of a generator. This means un-disturbed sleeping in our very comfortable beds with hotel quality linen.

For day trips we sail to some beautiful areas on the Islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Our fast fractional rigged Bermudan sloop moves along comfortably and quickly reaching speeds of up to 15 knots sailing off the wind. In the saloon, we have an entertainment system with a TV, radio, and DVD plus a great sound system that you can connect to your handphone so that you can enjoy your favorite tunes. There is much to see and do in this area. For those guests with more time, we recommend a 2 day/1 night trip and weather permitting will visit the famous Manta Point on the 2nd morning.

For longer overnight trips we travel to Lombok and the famous Northern Gili Islands. Picture three miniscule desert islands, fringed by white sand beaches and coconut palms, sitting in a turquoise sea: the Gilis are a vision of paradise. These islets have exploded in popularity, and are booming like nowhere else in Indonesia.

We also visit the quieter and less developed Southern Gili Islands where it’s still possible to find an uninhabited island with a deserted anchorage and a spectacular white sandy beach waiting for your footprints. This is one of our favorite areas and seeing is believing.

For overnight trips of 5-6 days we can visit the islands off the Northern East of Lombok and the North West of Sumbawa before heading North to the famous Gili Moyo.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
