PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
We charge the full boat price if you cancel within 72 hours of the charter. It is recommended that you reserve your day on the water prior to coming on vacation, especially between November and July.
CHARTER DURATION & FUEL COSTS:
USVI charters are up to 7 hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. BVI charters are up to 8 hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Fuel consumption is an additional charge and will depend on the chosen destinations and the current price per gallon of gas. Fuel costs are calculated by multiplying the number of gallons used by the current cost of fuel.
This vessel burns between 35 and 50 gallon per trip. For trips to BVI, please expect to burn an additional 15-30 gallons depending on itinerary and conditions.
CAPTAIN'S GRATUITY:
As is standard in all of our service industry businesses in the islands – tipping of the captain for outstanding service is greatly appreciated. Standard gratuity in the industry is 20% to 25% of the boat fee if you feel it's been a job well done.
Our captains generally meet guests at 8:30 or 9:00 AM at Compass Point Marina on St. Thomas, but are able to pick up from most locations on the East End of St. Thomas or in Cruz Bay on St. John.
If you are on a cruise ship, our charter times are flexible and we can pick up and drop off from your ship's port!

Reviews
Alesha our captain was awesome! We kind of had an itinerary in mind which she accommodated and added a couple of extra spots that we thoroughly enjoyed. The boat is extremely comfortable and took the wind and waves well as it was 3-4 foot and wind was strong. We will be back next year and hopefully the BVIs will be reopened so we can book Over the Line again, hopefully with Captain Alesha!
