Description

Book a fun and relaxing time aboard this beautiful 58 foot yacht. Meeting will take place at South Lake Union at the dock located next to The Cove restaurant. Once aboard, and a brief safety introduction, the fun starts. The captain will take you for a sightseeing tour around lake union cruising North on the East side of the lake. Once we reach the North end of the lake, we will turn towards the West shore and head South on the West shore of the lake.

Once a tour around the lake is complete, enjoy the time relaxing, going for a swim, etc, while we float in the middle of the lake. We will start to head back to the dock approximately 15 minutes prior to scheduled tour end time. Note that a 1 hour booking will only include enough time to do the tour of Lake Union with no extra time to float in the middle of the lake.

If you choose the optional trip to Andrew's Bay, located on Lake Washington, the trip will start at the same location and we will cruise directly to Andrew's Bay. First cruising North on the East side of Lake Union towards the channel heading towards Lake Washington. Once we arrive at Andrew's Bay, feel free to swim and relax.

Departure from Andrew's Bay will start 1.5 hours prior to scheduled tour end time. Once back on Lake Union, we will cruise on the West side heading South back towards the dock. Note that it can take at least an hour from the dock to Andrew's Bay, so book accordingly. A 3 hour booking will only allow you around 30 min at Andrew's Bay. A minimum of 3 hours must be booked if you choose to go to Andrew's Bay.

Feel free to bring your own food and beverages. Basic amenities will be included such as cups, plates, napkins etc.

Please only bring pre-prepared foods. You may use the microwave & refrigerator/freezer.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
