Description

Impress your guests in style aboard a one-of-a-kind Wyliecat 65ft private sail boat with our competent captain and crew, who will take you where you want to go. All our trips from San Francisco are for 3 hours, and for a 2-hour trip, you must board at Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond. With the wind in your hair and the fresh ocean air all around, this is the best entertainment option for everyone. So, let's go sailing!

The vessel is a truly exquisite blend of elegance and function, and has been outfitted for celebrating BIRTHDAYS, WEDDINGS, TEAM BUILDING, CUSTOMER APPRECIATIONS or just cruising on the bay with your friends and family. With ample deck space and 3 cabins, she also has lounging and meeting space for CORPORATE EVENTS while stylishly cruising around the Bay. After years of Zoom meetings, bring your distributed team together face-to-face in the fresh air.

She's hearty, strong, sleek and fast, and will serve you well for any occasion.

In her other life, the vessel is used by marine scientists for shark tagging and bay floor mapping, serving as a 21st century marine science work-boat. If you need to spend a week offshore conducting research, she is your go-to vessel with her well-stocked mini science laboratory on board.

We welcome you to bring the food and BYOB! There is NO CORKING fee for your beer, seltzers, white wine and champagne. We will provide dishes, cutlery, glasses and iced coolers. All this is INCLUDED for free. No hard liquor (vodka, tequila, rum etc) is allowed on board as we do not have a license for it.

You can boardthe vessel in Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, San Francisco, but the price is cheaper when boarding in Richmond - see Add On. These Add Ons are paid seperately from the charter fee.

Our normal cruise is 3 hours. Two (2) hour trips can only be booked when boarding in Richmond, not when boarding in San Francisco. Suggested starting times are 11:00am and sail till 2:00pm for a lunchtime cruise, or board at 4:00pm, and sail till 7:00pm for a late afternoon event.
PSST: Think champagne under the Golden Gate in the soft evening light!!!

So, BOOK AND COME TO SEE what all the fuss is about, or at least send us a message.

Such a wonderful experience!! We lucked out with beautiful weather and got to see a whale under the Golden Gate Bridge :) The crew was amazing! The whole process of setting up the trip was easy, they were very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Location & Destination Guide

Ah San Francisco! The City by the Bay is a maritime dream and one of America’s most iconic cities. Sailing in San Francisco is probably the best way to experience her in all her glory…

Many people say that this is one of the most European feeling cities in America, and with historic streets and a vibe that is still very alternative, it’s easy to see why. And, with so much to see and do on the water, sailing in San Francisco is a uniquely thrilling experience.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
