I am a marine professional. I have captained sailing yachts for private owners and for charters for 35 years. I have owned and chartered the 45 foot sailing yacht ALYAN since 1992. I am a certified marine surveyor of yachts and small craft with the National Association of Marine Surveyors and regularly conduct surveys for prepurchase, insurance, or damage. I manage several yachts at this time as well, including a 72 foot performance sailing yacht. I have sailed thousands of offshore and coastal miles. I also race sailboats competitively. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and making sailing an experience that exceeds the expectation of my guests, crew, friends or family.
