This is a 65' U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessel that has enjoyed more than 50 years of providing a safe platform upon which to enjoy the pleasure of sport fishing in the Santa Monica Bay. Captain Morgon, who has many years of experience as a licensed captain at the helm, will deliver an experience that none in the Bay can equal. Our amenities also include our full-service galley, which is one of the finest on the coast! Every boat and crew has its talents and we are in our element when chasing the local gamefish fish that frequent Redondo Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula...the ones that we all love! White Sea Bass, California Yellowtail, Halibut, California Sheephead...and all the bass and rockfish that you could want are a part of what a day on the water with Captain Morgon and crew is all about. Hi everyone! I'm Captain Morgon , the owner-operator of this iconic Southern California sportfishing vessel. I have decades of experience fishing on the Santa Monica Bay, having started out in my teens as a deckhand and eventually working my way up to become a licensed captain. After more than 20,000 hours at the helm, in 2020 I realized my lifelong dream of becoming owner of my own commercial passenger fishing boat. A parent and an Eagle Scout, I take great pride in providing my passengers with unforgettable sportfishing experiences of the highest quality that satisfy novices and experts alike. Full refund if renter cancels 31 days or more before the trip start date.
No refund if renter cancels 30 days or less before the trip start date.
Boat rules
- •Bait provided (LIVE BAIT when available!).
- •Customers must arrive a minimum of 60 minutes prior to departure to check-in. There will be no refunds or guaranteed boarding for passengers who check in less than 30 minutes prior to departure.
- •Food/drink, rental rods/tackle, fishing licenses, fish cleaning, and crew gratuity are not included in the charter rate unless otherwise specified.
- •No ice chests, coolers, alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, or weapons are allowed to be taken aboard.
- •The captain may cancel a charter without refund if it is determined that any member of the charter group is intoxicated/under the influence of drugs (including medical marijuana) or acts in an unruly or threatening manner.
- •The captain has the right to cancel the charter in the interest of safety to the passengers/crew. In the event this occurs, you will be responsible for all reasonable costs.
- •If your charter is cancelled in advance by the captain due to weather or mechanical issues, you may elect to either reschedule for the next available date or receive a refund.
