Description

Cruise the beautiful Riviera Maya aboard a private 40ft Sea Ray motor yacht, departing from Puerto Aventuras Marina, conveniently located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

Designed for private groups of up to 12 guests, this fully crewed yacht combines comfortable outdoor spaces with everything you need for a relaxing day on the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy shaded cockpit seating, a spacious stern swim platform, a bow sun pad for soaking up the sunshine, and an interior cabin where you can cool off and relax.

Choose the experience that best fits your group, from a short coastal cruise to a full-day adventure. Available routes include swimming at the calm La Bocana inlet, snorkeling with sea turtles and stingrays around InHa Reef, visiting peaceful Paamul Bay, crossing to Cozumel and Palancar Reef, or cruising south toward the spectacular Tulum ruins overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Throughout your charter, your professional captain and crew will take care of navigation and service while you enjoy a full open bar, freshly prepared food, snorkeling equipment, towels, and music onboard.

Depending on your selected route, you can choose from:

3-Hour Riviera Maya Coast Cruise – Coastal cruising and swimming at La Bocana
4-Hour InHa Reef Turtle Snorkel – Snorkel over the seagrass beds with chances to see turtles and stingrays
4-Hour Paamul Bay Snorkel – Swimming, snorkeling, and beach time in a peaceful bay
5-Hour InHa Reef + La Bocana – Combine turtle snorkeling with calm-water swimming and freshly prepared food
8-Hour Cozumel Palancar Crossing – Cross to Cozumel for snorkeling at Palancar Reef and time at Playa Palancar
8-Hour Tulum Ruins from the Sea – Cruise toward Tulum and enjoy snorkeling beneath the dramatic coastal cliffs

Location & Destination Guide

You don’t have to be a travel connoisseur to have heard about the infamous Cancun. Everyone knows Cancun as the city which boasts an endless choice of beachside resorts and nonstop nightlife. While the booming party scene may seem like the main reason to book a holiday in this part of Mexico, sailing in Cancun is also a major attraction.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
