Owner
I grew up looking out on Long Island Sound through a big-picture window of my parent's home. I was fascinated by the extraordinary number and variety of sailboats moving over the water. I started sailing on my father's 29-foot sailboat at age four and began junior sailing classes at Knickerbocker Yacht Club in Port Washington at age eight. After college and many years working abroad in advertising, I returned to sailing, racing a 23-foot Sonar for thirty years in Manhasset Bay. In 2011, I bought a 47-foot Beneteau Oceanis 473 and, since then, have sailed it in the Caribbean, up and down the east coast of the United States, and on Long Island Sound.
I am a fully certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain.
