Description

SKIPPERED SAILBOAT CHARTERS

PRIVATE DAY TRIPS (Antiparos, Blue Lagoon, Despotiko)
PRIVATE MULTI DAY TRIPS to Minor Cyclades

Authenticity and simplicity.
Crystal-clear waters and the Aegean sun.
Beautiful villages and local cuisine.

Set sail for an unforgettable experience around the Cyclades islands with your skippered private sailboat, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Departing from Paros, the heart of the Cyclades, is the perfect choice for a Greek island hopping. We are specialized in sailing vacations for couples, families and small group of friends.

Our yacht is a carefully maintained refurbished Gibsea 43 yacht, operated only with a permanent captain and has an excellent sailing behavior. Skipper Dionysis, with many years of local knowledge and experience, will guide you safely, pleasantly and discreetly around the Cyclades to experience secluded coves, authentic tavernas or adventurous hiking paths.

In day trips, we visit several spots in the area between Paroas and Antiparos, depending on the weather conditions and boat traffic (Blue Lagoon, Agia Eirini, Despotiko, Panteronisia etc).

The itinerary that we usually offer in multiday trips is the Small Cyclades route. This includes several spots at the islands of Paros, Antiparos, Iraklia, Koufonisia, Schinousa, Naxos and Amorgos. Here you will meet the real Cyclades, unspoiled by the passage of the time! The area is protected from the strong prevailing north winds that blows during the summer (Meltemi). The itinerary is designed to combine short sailing legs, swimming and relaxing in beautiful coves, island exploring and authentic local cuisine. It is not suitable for those who like intense nightlife and very crowded places (except perhaps on Koufonissia and Antiparos in the high season). The sailing time per day is between 1 and 5 hours, ideal for beginners and families with kids and the early arrivals at the islands give you the opportunity to walk or drive around in order to experience the unique scenery.

The rental cost includes: the yacht with all her equipment, skipper, taxes, fuel, insurance, snorkeling equipment. Also bed linen, bath towel and dinghy for the multi day trips. Not included: food, drinks, port charges, end cleaning fee.

The family spirit and the intimacy created between us and our guests, guides to a unique holiday boating experience.

Make an inquiry on sailo and we will help you planning your sailing holidays, as well as giving you advice for the rest of your holidays in Greece.

Dionysis was an absolutely wonderful captain! He showed us all the best spots around Paros and Antiparos and was very accommodating of all our requests. This experience was an amazing value for the money spent, and ended up being one of our favorite things we did while in Greece. I would absolutely book with Dionysus again, and would highly recommend sailing with him to others!

Borned in 1983, i am half italian and half greek. I have BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Networking and i worked for several years as an IT administrator and Computer instructor. Simultaneously, i studied in a drama school and worked as an actor and theater director.
I love travelling, photographing, windsurfing, playing the guitar. Philosophy and aerial acrobatics are my passions. I discovered sailing by chance. I followed the sailing school and started sailing the greek seas with my friends and after gaining experience i became a proffessional skipper. I am really enjoying the freedom of the sea and the silent flow of the air between the sails. My favorite sailing moments are the sunsets and the meetings with dolphins.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
