Reservation settings
Charter contract begins at 5pm on the day of the charter and checkout is at 8:30am on the last day of the charter.
Please note the yacht should be returned to the base a day before the end of the charter contract, at 6pm for check-out procedure, (refueling of the boat, diver inspection, check-out).
Cancellation fees
* 40% of the charter rate if the booking is cancelled at any time up to 8 weeks prior to the start date
* 60% of the charter rate if the booking is cancelled at any time up to 6 weeks prior to the start date
* 100 % of the charter rate if the booking is cancelled within 6 weeks prior to the start date
Payment conditions (first payment, second payment):
• 50% down payments within five working days from booking confirmation
• 50% final payment, 45 days prior to departure
• If payments are not made within the above dates, bookings will be cancelled
** payments can be made by bank transfer
Deposit:
A refundable security deposit is requested, at the commencement of the charter, (3.500€), against the possibility of any loss, or accident, equipment, or third party, or late redelivery of the boat. The amount is payable by credit card (visa or master) and is refundable upon the completion of the charter.
Covid19:
In case of COVID19 event resulting in a cancellation of booking that is totally beyond the CHARTERER's or the OWNER's control, all amounts are refundable, except for the first down payment which is turned into a voucher for use for a future booking with the same Yacht during the following two (2) years. If not used, then it shall be returned, less any relevant expenses.
Exceptionally, the full amount will be returned (instead of voucher issue) if the country of embarkation employs measures disallowing entry to foreigners altogether (total lockdown) or sailing altogether (i.e. not allowing embarking a vessel and legally leaving harbor). In such cases all amounts, less relevant expenses, shall be returned in full.
It is clarified that the effort here is for both CHARTERER and OWNER to be protected from losses, up to a fair and just extent. As such, a cancellation due to a COVID19 reason is termed as:
"Not being able to arrive to and embark the Yacht and/or legally leave harbor on the date/time of embarkation, or at least 48hrs later or 1/3 of the charter period, whichever is less, due to restrictions/issues/complications created by the COVID19 outbreak (or similar global issue) that are completely beyond the CHARTERER's and/or the OWNER's control."

Our party had a very enjoyable time on our Hey Blue Charter. Our skipper, Nikos, and our hostess, Pagona, were fantastic. Nikos was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of blending sailing with memorable shore excursions. Pagona's cooking skills were terrific - the dishes she served were amazing. More than anything else, these two young people were just FUN to be around. The accommodations on the 42 foot catamaran were clean, modern and spacious. The boat was easy to enjoy as a living space. The owner had replaced the toilets prior to our cruise and we had a few plumbing issues that had to be sorted out but other than that, the week on board was fun.
We are just home from our amazing trip thru the Cyclades with Alex, our captain, and Pagona, as our host. They were amazing right from the start. The boat was perfect for our family of 5. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Alex guided us thru the islands showing us one beautiful beach after another. Our nights were spent in town walking the gorgeous streets and enjoying the delicious food. I highly recommend getting a host, as Pagona made our trip extra relaxing and special. She cooked us traditional greek meals and cleaned etc. helping out boat trip go smoothly and more enjoyable for all. We trusted Alex and his guidance throughout out trip and if we ran into any issues he was quick to resolve. Maria was so easy to plan with and her husband met us on arrival and made sure everyone was comfortable with every step of our trip. I cant wait to do another adventure with Alex and Pagona. They were the best. We are so thankful for this trip and experience in Greece for our family.
What an unbelievable trip! Maria and family communicated so well throughout the booking process, leading up to the trip, and during/after the trip to ensure we were having the most amazing time possible in the Cyclades. A group of 7 of us travelled from the US and started the trip on the island of Paros. We opted to hire a captain and hostess for the week for a very reasonable cost. If you aren’t an experienced sailor or captain yourself, I would highly recommend this option. Nicos, our captain, has to be one of the most experienced sailors in the Cyclades. We all felt very safe the entire time on the boat, which was key being that we aren’t all experienced sailors. The wind in the summer is very strong in this region and he knew all the spots to stay with minimal wind that were also INCREDIBLE. We adjusted our schedule on the fly with the wind conditions and everywhere he recommended and took us was absolutely fantastic. We sailed in almost 40 knot wind one day and everyone on board felt completely safe, and the boat handled it no problem. The boat is equipped with a state of the art navigation system that, along with Nicos’ extensive knowledge, also helped keep everyone safe…and made for efficient travel between destinations. Katarina, our hostess, made the most memorable and incredible meals the entire trip. I don’t know what we would have done without her (I suppose more cooking, cleaning, etc). She was also great company along with our captain Nicos and they helped make our trip extra special. The catamaran itself was the perfect boat for the Cyclades. If we were on a monohull boat, we would have been rocking so much more, but the catamaran kept so much calmer which helped for sleeping at night. The 4 cabins on board were more than enough room for our group and each of them had a full bathroom/shower! The hangout zones on the boat are amazing - the table for eating and lounging in the stern, the pads and net in the front and the pads next to the captains chair in the middle made for enough space to spread out or all hang together in one zone. The amenities on board were all we needed during our stay in addition to the provisions we bought, which were easily re-upped on islands along the journey. All in all, I would highly recommend anyone booking a sailing adventure of a lifetime like we did, or even a day trip, to go with Heyblue (the boat) and work with Maria and her family. They’re the absolute best and helped make this the best trip we could have ever hoped for. Thank you Maria, Theodoros, Vassili, Nicos, and Katarina - you guys are amazing humans!
