She is the one of the newest vessel in our charter fleet! She was five years in the making -- a labour of love -- and launched in 2015. Her layout and construction were inspired by the Indonesian “Phinisi” sailing ship and features amazing woodworking craftsmanship using traditional methods. We believe she is the smartest looking charter boat in the Ments! Out on the foredeck is a shaded hanging out, surf watching and eating area, with a bluetooth enabled sound system. The top deck is another space for hanging and is fitted with a sunshade when the boat is parked up at the waves. It is also the go to spot for sunset beers. The saloon area is for movie watching, evening relaxation and bad weather refuge. It's where you’ll find the well-stocked beer and drink fridge and breakfast bar, where coffee/tea and snacks are on the ready day and night. The interior of the boat is air-conditioned throughout. There is also another hanging out area at the stern. The below deck guest accommodation area which follows a similar layout to D'Bora is comprised of a dorm setup with 8 bunks along with a double VIP cabin. To further enhance the traditional Phinisi vibe, we've equipped her with a sailing rig. A sprite style rig for the main and a self furling head sail up front, a first for a traditional Indo boat. Si Lion, a 24 foot aluminium tender powered by a 200 hp Suzuki outboard accompanies Indo Satu on all charters. Si Lion is used for chasing waves up and down the islands allowing guests to surf a wider variety of waves over the course of the trip. She is powered by a 6-cylinder 285-hp Mitsubishi diesel engine which has her cruising along at 8-9 knots. 24/7 electricity is provided by two generators. The full array of safety gear and navigational equipment in accordance with Indonesian Survey laws is on board (including satellite phone, HF and VHF radio, radar, GPS, sounder, 18-person life raft, flares, life jackets and fire extinguishers). The crew are all highly experienced and have completed first aid and fire training.

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
