Description
This is a vintage Willard Marine custom schooner. She was designed by Hale Field and constructed at Willard Boat Works in Costa Mesa. She has spent most of her life in Newport Harbor, occasionally venturing up or down the coast to cruise or participate in the America's Schooner Cup which she has placed in several times and even won! She is a dream to sail and flies up to five sails at a time: a gaff rigged main sail, a gaff rigged foresail, a jib on a self-tending boom, a fisherman staysail, and a gaff topsail. Her auxiliary propulsion is a 30 horsepower Yanmar inboard engine. Down below she has a dinette table that seats four comfortably, a small galley (kitchen) with an icebox, and a head (restroom).

Crew
Andrew: Sailing is my passion, my life and my career! I caught the sailing bug at the age of eleven and have been at it ever since! I grew up in the Sea Scouts program, raced for my High School's Sailing Team all four years of school, and taught sailing (even directed the sailing program) for ten years before completing my captain's license and starting my own sailing excursion business. I love being on the water and sharing that experience with others! Missy: I've spent the last 18 years working in restaurants and coffee shops, but sailing captured my heart and now I can't give it up! Captain Andrew taught me everything I know, and will soon be sending me to get my Captain's License so I can continue sharing my newfound love of being out on the water.

Location & Destination Guide
It’s big, bold and very glitzy. Los Angeles is probably one of the world’s most glamorous and vibrant cities, making it both enthralling and exhausting. But with the ocean right there on the doorstep, to get on Marina Del Rey boat rental is a thrilling way to recharge those batteries and enjoy a whole other side to LA LA Land.
