Description
The yacht was built by Nathanael Herreshoff, arguably America’s greatest yacht designer. This is a Federally-documented, National Landmark sailing vessel. A true wooden ship, her hull is solid mahogany, decks are Indian teak and her hollow wooden mast is made of American spruce. The yacht is 72 feet long, weighs 22 tons and carries 30 guests. She was launched in 1921, and was originally owned by philanthropist George Baker (founder of today’s Citibank) as Mr. Bakers’ private duck hunting yacht!
The yacht still sails on her solid mahogany and teak hull. She boasts a finely varnished mast, making it stand out from other craft. Sailing from the spectacular North Cove Marina on the Hudson, this American beauty is perfect for lunch and dinner cruises with amazing views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn, and Manhattan Bridges Chrysler Building among other sights that define this city. Whatever unique requests you have, the yacht sailing crew will work with you to make your event a delight.

Reviews
Our whole trip from booking to the actual event was great. Everyone had an amazing time. The staff on board, especially those serving and looking after our guests were fantastically attentive. James was very helpful, patient and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
James and his crew were fantastic - everyone was attentive, social, and made sure our group had an enjoyable sail. Plus - we appreciated the food platters they created! I'd highly recommend.
