Description

A 37-foot center console is a popular and versatile boat design that offers a spacious and open deck layout. These boats are typically used for various water activities, including fishing, cruising, and water sports. Here is a general description of a 37-foot center console:

Size and Construction:
A 37-foot center console boat typically has an overall length of 37 feet, with a beam (width) of around 10 feet. This size provides a good balance between maneuverability and adequate deck space. The hull is often constructed with a deep-V design, which improves stability and ensures a smoother ride, especially in rough water conditions.

Console and Helm:
The center console itself is located in the middle of the boat, providing 360-degree access to the deck. It usually features a helm station with seating for the captain and a console panel for controls and navigation instruments. The console may have a windshield, T-top, or hardtop to provide some protection from the elements.

Deck Layout:
The open deck layout is a defining feature of a center console boat. With a 37-foot length, there is ample space for movement, fishing, and socializing. The deck often offers cushioned seating options, storage compartments, and rod holders strategically placed for easy access. Some models may have additional seating areas towards the bow or stern.

Fishing Features:
Many center console boats are tailored for fishing enthusiasts. A 37-foot center console typically includes features such as bait wells, fish boxes, and rod holders to accommodate fishing gear. These boats often have a high gunwale, providing added safety and stability while fighting fish.

Power and Performance:
A 37-foot center console boat is typically powered by outboard engines. The power range can vary, but it is common to see multiple engines, each offering a significant amount of horsepower. This provides excellent performance, allowing the boat to reach higher speeds and navigate different conditions easily.

Additional Amenities:
Additional amenities such as an enclosed head (bathroom), freshwater shower, seating options with built-in coolers, and entertainment systems for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience on the water.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
