Via the Sailo messaging app I negotiated a cruise leaving from Bayshore Marina in Coconut Grove at 11:00 AM and returning at 3:00. Communication was slow and for every three questions asked one was answered. Immediately after placing a non-refundable payment for the trip, I was advised that it would be better if we could sail from South Beach. I pushed back since my entire group was coming from Coconut Grove. Then I was told that we could depart from Bayshore only if we left at 10:00 because they needed to get back to South Beach and would be squeezed for time. I conceded that we would start at 10:30. I was asked to show up at 10:15 and sent Evites accordingly. Two days before the event David called and told me that I needed the entire group to be there at 10:00AM and that we would end the cruise at 2:15, not 2:30 as agreed. He said this was standard policy to end every cruise 15 minutes early to allow for disembarkation. It was clear that the owner had booked a second cruise after mine and needed to high tail it out of there to meet his second party. I was already upset about this situation on arrival. We had a group of five families aging in range from grandparents to elementary school children. One member snapped at us because the fifth family had not yet arrived at 10:20 for a 10:30 cruise. We told her that we are not supposed to depart until 10:30 and she said, "That is not my understanding." Relative to the other cruises I have booked on Sailo this experience was disappointing. The crews on other boats are typically trying to make sure that we have a good time. On this boat they were short with the guests, ordered people to board two at a time, spent ten minutes going over rules, demanded to know a point person who was in charge of the minors and generally had an unwelcoming attitude.

Boating Regulations:
- While we strive for punctuality, please note that departure and return times may be subject to adjustment due to unforeseen delays such as bridge openings, closures, or marina docking availability.
- All passengers must sign the manifest and provide valid, in-person identification prior to boarding. If anyone in your party is under 21 years of age, please notify the crew immediately. Boarding the Catamaran requires signing the waiver.
- ZERO TOLERANCE policy: Any underage drinking or drug use onboard will result in immediate disembarkation at the nearest dock, and the charter will be terminated without refund.
- While guests are permitted to bring their own alcohol, please be aware that alcohol service ceases during the last 30 minutes of 2, 3, and 4-hour charters, and the last hour of 5 and 6-hour charters. Additionally, no shots will be served. We reserve the right to return to the dock for any alcohol-related issues without refund.
- Please heed the crew's instructions, exercise caution with food and beverages, and understand that all activities on and off the boat are undertaken at your own risk.
- The Captain holds ultimate authority while onboard the Catamaran, deciding whether to sail based on weather, sea, or wind conditions.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- All charters are non-refundable, and sales are final.
