We will be chasing Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Trout, Snapper, Grouper, Bar Jack, Sharks and Barracuda out of a Sterling Spector 17. This boat floats very shallow, is deadly quiet and is very stable with 88 inches of beam.
For those who love high-tech toys, we just added the I-Pilot to the Minn Kota. It has an a GPS guided anchor lock that allows you to hold spots for shallow water wreck fishing, night tarpon at the bridges and anything you can think. Not only that but it allows us to track three 2-mile fishing areas and auto pilot through them so there is nothing to worry about but putting your lure in the perfect spot.
We also added a GoPro to the boat and are getting quality videos of fishing.
The Spector has a 20-gallon lighted live-well and a 30-gallon live-well located centerline for maximum stability while live baiting and live chumming. Boat has LED courtesy lights for night Tarpon and Snook trips.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
