Description

This beautiful boat was built in 1939 by ELCO. She is 30ft in length of cedar on white oak construction fitted and trimmed with mahogany throughout. Her lines capture the romance and style of this bygone era perfectly.
As far as we are aware there are no more afloat like her, she truly is unique!

Sunset Cruise for $700. Half Day and Full Day cruises from $950.00

The boat has a large comfortable back deck to lounge about on with a table to dine at. The area is partly shaded and also in the sun. Canvas sides can be rolled down to give shelter from the wind and rain should that ever be necessary. The original swimming ladder makes taking a dip easy. The spacious bow of the boat is also a delightful place to spend time relaxing and soaking up the magic of the experience.

Inside the cabin are two sofas that convert to bunk beds, a small galley kitchen and bathroom with a hot shower and electric flush wc.

Catering for any occasion formal or informal can be arranged.

What an incredible day on the water with Scott! It was incredibly easy to find him and the boat, and the boat is beautiful. Picture perfect for an afternoon on a calm day. Scott was incredibly informative, told us great stories about the area, and was flexible in our route and timing. His son was on board helping and he was the perfect host! Would absolutely go out on their boat again, for an afternoon or a sunset cruise with a couple of friends. Thank you Scott!

This trip was an absolute delight !! The boat itself was gorgeous and I loved hearing about its history. Scott and Sara were welcoming and took care of us the entire time and made us feel so comfortable. Sitting up front with some pillows and some blankets watching the sunset was an absolute dream!! Will definitely book again when we have visitors. Very quick and easy to communicate with. Just book with them you’ll love it !

Captian Scott was great as was his mate.

He was there, on time and the boat waa clean and ready for us.

We sailed from 3 Mile in East Hampton to Claudios for an event and dinner and returned after dark.

It might not be the first thing you think of when finding things to do in New York City, but renting a boat for a full day or just a few hours is a truly memorable experience.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
