Boat rules
- - If you are afraid that you might get sea sickness please take a motion sickness pills 30 mins before reaching.
- - You may like to bring along swimwear, goggles, towels (most boats do not provide), a change of clothes, sunblock lotion and sunglasses if you are going to engage in water activities.
- - If you booked a charter specifically to go fishing, do note that it will be very rushed to include both fishing, BBQ and water activities in the usual 4 hour itineraries. Highly recommend adding at least an hour, otherwise most likely you will only have 1 hour to fish. This is because professional fishing yachts/boats will take you to the open seas with lots of passing vessels, the waters there will not be safe for swimming and it will be more rocky, rendering it unsuitable for BBQ. Unless the yacht you charter is a 100ft+ superyacht, or a 60ft+ Catamaran, any smaller boat will be unsafe for cooking activities while at the fishing spots. However, do note that if you take those bigger yachts for fishing, they will only be able to shift 1-2 spots as they are not as nimble as the typical 40-50ft yacht.
- - IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE be sure not to throw any tissue / tampons or any other items that are not excreted from the body into the toilets on ALL boats. Marine toilets are extremely easy to choke and if there is any such damages, the yacht will collect up to S$1000++ from you in order to rectify the damages and restore the toilets back to original.
- - Highly recommend avoiding Red wine/Rosé/Cherry because if spilled the stain on the carpet or surface of the yacht may cost upwards of $700++ to clean. The yacht may bill you subsequently for cleaning fees.
