Belize Sailing Vacations is the perfect all-inclusive vacation for the family, friends, a romantic getaway, or honeymoon. Our sailing charter expertise offers you variety and flexibility in choosing activities tailored to your special interest. Rendezvous diving or fishing expeditions can be arranged while others in your party may prefer snorkeling, kayaking or beachcombing, or even a day at the spa.
In addition, we offer American Sailing Association Classes that offer a chance for those who are interested in expanding their knowledge and gaining confidence on the water. Your instructor will also be your captain and classes happen throughout the day with plenty of breaks for other activities. You can also journey inland to witness grand Mayan temples, float on a tube through the largest cave network in Central America, ride horses through lush rainforest or zip line through the jungle, a perfect contrast to the turquoise waters of the ocean.

Yacht Specifications:
With multiple owner upgrades including granite surfaces, electric heads, extensive fishing rigging and a large al fresco dining / lounging salon, Palometa caters to all tastes and is a very comfortable yacht for your sailing vacation.
There are 3 queen cabins available for guests, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. The 4th cabin is allocated to crew. The three cabins can sleep up to six adults. Furthermore, the indoor salon dining area converts to a lounger bed, perfect for those with kids wanting movie night and popcorn!

Daniel Estell
Daniel is from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, where the ocean was his playground and the barrier reef became his office. He has been a licensed tour guide for 10 years and has been captaining catamarans for 5. Daniel has been a captain with Belize Sailing Vacations for 3 seasons and brings a wealth of adventure, hospitality and fun to your charter. He's also known as 'Dead Shot Danny', as he is a legendary spear fisherman and free dives to 60ft to deliver your catch of the day!
Cori Sterrenberg
Chef Cori Sterrenberg is a Canadian who found her home in Belize, living for over 6 years in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. With a passion for Asian cuisine and having realized a gap in the market in the offerings in San Pedro, Cori opened a small kitchen out of a local pub serving Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. Having achieved ratings as high as #2 on Trip Advisor and a huge following, Cori expanded her culinary field to offer private chef services, taking on kitchens at the most luxurious private villas in the country, serving gourmet international cuisine for up to 20 guests at a time.
Cori is now a member of the Belize Sailing Vacations team and brings with her a wealth of culinary experience, passion and sense of adventure to our charters. She is also very fond of entertaining and sharing her Belize experiences with our guests to ensure they have the most memorable vacation.

Cliff’s sailing experience includes offshore Yacht Racing and the San Francisco International Yacht Racing scene since 1980. Cliff brings his expertise of navigation, weather, communications, boat safety and first aide management skills to the Belize Sailing Vacations Yacht Charter . Cliff has over 25 years of racing and cruising experience ranging from 505’s to 70 foot Maxis.
With over 10 years sailing Belize, Cliff’s expertise as a skipper and local knowledge will ensure safety and fun during your Belize sailing vacation. Cliff is also a Licensed Belize Captain, certified by the Belize Port Authority. Cliff’s cruising experience ranges from the Pacific to throughout the Caribbean including the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Gulf of Mexico, and the Rio Dulce of Guatemala.
Cliff has been a sailing instructor for junior yacht club programs for many years, which makes learning how to sail for the first time with Belize Sailing Vacations easy and a lot of fun. Cliff’s special interest also includes sailing, PADI diving, fishing, and gourmet cooking,
