Description

The yacht is Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i designed by Marc Lombard. This 39 footer is an excellent performer on the water and offers generous cruising comforts! The yacht's size is ideal for a group of friends or 2-3 families, having three comfortably designed cabins as well as two toilets. The yacht can accommodate up to 8 persons in 3 double rooms + saloon. The deck design features a cockpit with twin wheels. This has the advantage of opening up the cockpit to the swim platform. It has teak deck in cockpit, cockpit cushions etc. The big, triangular cockpit is comfortable for lounging, and a centreline table has plenty of room for six to dine. A hot-and-cold-water transom shower is handy to the broad swim platform. Thanks to a generous beam carried well aft, interior volume is greater than one would expect on a 39-footer. Layout is three cabins - twin aft and one forward all with double berths. The roomy forward cabin has a large V-berth and ample storage space in hanging lockers and on shelves. The saloon is large, airy, and comfortable. A wraparound dinette to starboard, just forward of an L-shaped galley, has seating for five or six. A settee berth is opposite, just forward of the navigation station. Fridge, gas cooker, sink, hot water supply are part of the interior amenities. Safety equipment includes a life raft, 10 life vests including child and baby, 3 fire extinguishers, lifebuoy and more. On our disposal is a dinghy with 6hp outboard motor. VHF radio, instruments for wind, speed and depth and a chart plotter are our navigational tools. The autopilot will help us in long haul passages. Two types of marine maps are in use – Navionics and Garmin, both up to date.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?
No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! Read more
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. Read more
How long does a rental last?
The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests.
