Description

A jewel in the crown of our mid-size catamaran range, the 4400 shines with spacious luxury and legendary performance at sea. This four-cabin sail cat is a generous one; designed to give you unfettered access to the sights and sensations your destination has to offer.

It starts in her covered forward cockpit where you can marvel at the unfolding scenery under sail, or unwind to the gentle lapping of the waves on the hull while anchored—all with direct access from the saloon. Inside, oversized windows make this spacious saloon feel just as open as the waters around it, while a powerful air-conditioning unit provides a cool retreat from the outdoor heat. The saloon also features an aft galley with Corian worktop surfaces and a full range of modern appliances, utensils and storage space to make dining at sea an absolute breeze.

Forward of the galley, a plush settee wraps around a large table, an ideal setting for meals and conversations. Behind the saloon, sliding glass doors open to an aft cockpit with ample seating and table space under a lighted hardtop, perfect for dining al-fresco or wetting your toes in the water below.
To starboard, the elevated helm station provides 360-degree visibility under a hardtop bimini with all lines lead aft for easy handling. Thanks to her deep narrow-groove hulls and shallow draft, the 4400 provides a remarkably stable sailing experience with the ability to access smaller ports and secret beaches other boats simply can’t reach. A state-of-the-art Raymarine Instrument Package and twin Yanmar engines ensure safe and swift passages in a variety of conditions.

Down below, she features four spacious cabins and room for up to 10 guests (using the convertible settee/table in the saloon). Each cabin includes a double bed with pillows/linens, ample storage space, large windows, and en-suite bathroom with an overhead shower and modern accouterments.
As you can see, The Moorings 4400 is a versatile platform for sailing adventures and resort-style living in some of the world’s greatest seaside destinations.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
