Description

If you want space and luxury, this Oceanis 51.1 has an incredible amount of space inside/outside the yacht. The owner’s cabin has an en-suite shower room and head, a wide island bed worthy of a 55-foot sailing yacht, and the aft shower cabins rotate to protect the room from water spray. The remarkably well-fitted, U-shaped galley is as pleasant to use under sail as it is at anchor. The large hull portholes bathe the boat in light and elegantly emphasize Nauta Design’s interior design, creating a wonderful atmosphere. This yacht is a four-cabin, two head version. It boasts an upgraded 110hp diesel Yanmar, Ultraleather interior, upgraded AGM batteries, generator, A/C… Too many features to list. This yacht is loaded!

The outdoor options are as generous and practical as those indoors, with areas for relaxation and plenty of sun lounging. The large cockpit table, top quality covers and bimini, and spacious open swim platform are all features that go towards making the Oceanis 51.1 an outstanding California cruising yacht.

Hi, I'm Chris and together with my wife, Angele, we own a charter company. We have the newest, cleanest and most beautiful fleet of sailboats available to charter in Newport Beach. You can drive the boat and trim the sails as it is an interactive experience that is so much fun. All of our sailing yachts, since they are large and have a lot of systems, include a US Coast Guard captain. All of our captains are friendly and will make your experience so enjoyable, by teaching about sailing or helping you find, whales, dolphins and sea lions.

Location and Destination Guide

Usually this boat operates around Newport Beach, CA.

It’s big, bold and very glitzy. Los Angeles is probably one of the world’s most glamorous and crazy cities, making it both enthralling and exhausting. But with the ocean right there on the doorstep, sailing in Los Angeles is a thrilling way to recharge those batteries and enjoy a whole other side to LA LA Land.

Most of our Sailo yacht charters can be found in Marina del Rey, a mere stones throw from Santa Monica.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
