The famous swimming pigs of the Bahamas can be found on several islands across the archipelago, and Rose Island is the closest place to Nassau to see them. Snorkelling on Rose Island
If you’ve never been snorkelling before, or if you’re already a fan, then Rose Island is an excellent place to dive in (literally). Swim out from the beach or, if you prefer to dive straight in off the boat then you’ll be able to see plenty of sea life. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, conch and starfish, and plenty of colorful tropical fish.
