How much is it to rent a yacht in Oman?
You can charter a boat for a day in Oman for an average of $1100 per day. The average price for a weekly boat rental is $3500. Your total budget for a boating trip in Oman depends on many factors such as: trip duration, if captain and crew are included in the price or their cost have to be paid separately, fuel cost (which could be significantly higher on a motorboat compared to a sailboat) and other extras you choose to customize your experience in Oman.
What happens in case of bad weather?
For captained charters, weather cancellations and reschedulings are entirely at the discretion of the Captain or Boat Owner. The Renter can not invoke 'bad weather' and request a refund as reason for cancellation unless the Captain or the Boat Owner agrees to it. For captained charter, the Captain will make the decision if the weather conditions are dangerous to get out on the water. Cloudy skies or a slight chance of rain are not grounds for cancellation or rescheduling. If a cancellation or rescheduling due to bad weather is necessary, either the Renter or the Boat Owner must send an email to support@sailo.com stating the reason.
