As a private Yacht owner for 15 of my 45 years on the water I fully understand what is expected of a Captain and his crew and the safety and responsibilities that these positions demand. I am educated, well spoken, and have a personality not an “ego”. I have a complete understanding and knowledge on all shipboard systems. I am an experienced Engineer. I am certified and trained in the following areas; CPR, First Aid, STCW 95, Bridge Resource management, Radar and crew placement. I have extensive Big Boat experience 135’ to 175’ with Breaux Bay Craft Fast Crew & Supply boats on the Mississippi River and in the Gulf of Mexico. I am experienced with Hargrave, Hatteras, Westport , Burger, Expedition, Sunseeker, and Sea Ray Yachts. I have over 35,000 nautical miles logged in the waters of the US East Coast, Atlantic Ocean, ICW, Bahamas, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi, Ohio, and Tennessee rivers on Yachts and Motor Vessels up to 300’. I am a skilled boat handler and have an accident free record.
