On April 2013 Capt Joe opened its doors to the long-away new location in North Bay Village, 10 min from South Beach. We had a great experience, the mechanical and safety aspects where perfect. It took us about about 20 minutes to check in and do the induction with one of the captains, to make sure we new how to handle the boat. We would rent again in the same place.
Sailo provided us with absolutely wonderful service! They were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. There was a slight miscommunication from one of our their agents and they very nicely owned up to their mistake and helped us out instantly. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Captain Joe - the owner of the boat. Because of the human and unintended mistake made by Sailo, he was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and insulting to our group - to the point that we almost canceled out outing. While I FULLY recommend Sailo, and definitely plan to use them again, I will NEVER use Captain Joe again and hope anyone reading this review decides to do the same because that type of behavior towards a paying customer is completely uncalled for - especially for an unintended mistake that was not even made by the customer. Besides his extremely unprofessional behavior he proceeded to speak badly about Sailo and assured me that I would never get my money back from them - something which Sailo did do without hesitation because they obviously know how to treat their customers. Again, my thanks to Sailo and my 5-star recommendation to them.
