With a spacious, split-level floor plan featuring two cabins opening to a forward cockpit and four cabins below (all with private en-suite baths), the 5800 provides unforgettable sailing getaways for large groups.

Venture up to the enormous flybridge and captain from the helm station with a 360-degree vantage point, all sail control lines within arm's reach, electric winches and a fully equipped Raymarine Navigation System. Performance under sail is nothing short of impeccable and made all the more pleasurable by fly bridge amenities including stylish lounge seating with an additional propane grill and wet bar/refrigerator.

Down below, you'll find spacious, teak-style decking, state-of-the-art equipment and air-conditioning, making this yacht an unrivaled leader in cruising comfort.

Inside the 5800, you'll discover a well-appointed galley with a large refrigerator, 2-drawer freezer, 4-burner gas cooker with oven & broiler, and microwave, offering the tools necessary for dining afloat. Meals can be enjoyed in the saloon, which includes plush wrap-around seating and a wet bar. The yacht also comes complete with 46” flat screen TV/DVD player, onboard WiFi, Apple TV, CD stereo with MP3 connection, as well as cockpit and fly bridge speakers.

• AIR CONDITIONING: This yacht has generator-powered A/C.
• CONVERTIBLE SALOON: This yacht does not have a convertible saloon.
• FOREPEAKS: This yacht has two forepeaks. The port forepeak is large enough for one adult, is only accessible from a hatch on top of the hull. It comes equipped with a head, sink, shower, bed and air conditioning ventilated from the forward port cabin. This forepeak is included as a single berth the listed maximum capacity of this yacht. The starboard forepeak is for storage and systems only.
• SKIPPER/COOK: A hired Skipper will use an interior cabin unless all cabins are being used as sleeping quarters by charter guests, where he will instead use both forepeaks.

*Please note - Two skipper resumes are required to sail the Moorings 5800 Bareboat and each charter will be accompanied by one of our Friendly Skippers for the first day. Skippers must also call ahead when returning to The Moorings Marina for docking assistance.

    What should I bring?

    Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location.     How long does a rental last?

    The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
