This luxury FP Lucia 40 is a well-apportioned sailing catamaran with three berths and two heads, a full galley, huge rear salon, two paddleboards, and all the required safety equipment. This is primarily a sailing charter, so if the wind is good we like to go offshore, get the sails up, and enjoy the silence and solitude of the ocean! If we can we'll find a good reef on which we can snorkel and swim, weather permitting. >75% of the time we are joined by dolphins and sea turtles!

Crew

Capt Eddie Kertis . He is a lifelong surfer, scuba diver, sailor, snowboarder, and all-around waterman. Eddie served from 2014-2020 on the national board of directors of a non-profit dedicated to the preservation of the world's ocean, waves, and beaches. Joanne is a seasoned mariner who former taught grade school and led the Army's career counseling center in Hawaii. She is an accomplished open water swimmer, has participated in the Swim Around Key West, and one year was the overall winner of the two-mile open water swim. Eddie has snowboarded in eight countries and surfed in five. He is a lifeguard, competitive swimmer, a USCG boat captain and is qualified as a Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster. Eddie and Joanne are huge Parrot Heads who have attended 67 Jimmy Buffett concerts, and are big fans of the Florida Gators.

    We had a great time sailing with Captain Eddie.
    The boat is in excellent condition. Communication was very good. Overall highly recommend booking. Eddie is a great host, we would definitely book again when in Key West.

    Best experience possible with Capt. Eddie and Joanne! They communicated before the trip to make sure we had everything we wanted. They also made extra efforts during the trip to enhance our experience. We will definitely be back and book with them again. Thanks for the fun day!

Owners Capt Eddie and Joanne Kertis are lifelong sailors, surfers, and divers who previously lived in Hawaii for eight years. They blend the Aloha spirit with their love of the ocean in their home state of Florida. Eddie's grandfather owned a fleet of tugboats on the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh, so Eddie is the "Son of a Son of a Sailor." Eddie is retired from the Army and is a veteran of deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He's a licensed USCG Master and Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Yachtmaster.
