The boat, Gaia, is a Beneteau Oceanis 423, produced by one of the most important boats’manufacturer of the world (Beneteau). It has one main saloon with dining table and kitchen, three suite cabins, one in the bow and two in the stern, and two bathrooms (unfortunately we don’t have jacuzzi yet!).
Gaia is a cruise oceanic boat, that means it is designed for those who want to enjoy sailing with no necessity of high speeds; it is safe and comfortable and the living spaces, inside and outside, are generous and well laid out.
The deck, with the cockpit, with ample living space, where most of the meals are eaten, especially when there is good weather, and you can also spend time there sunbathing or reading a good book. Gaia can host 8 people for the night and, for a day trip, up to 10 people.

We are a couple who decided to live our dream, combining our love for travel and passion for nature…for us the best compromise is living on a boat.
Sardinia, Corsica and even more…we can offer you the holiday you have always dreamt of…beautiful beaches, wonderful sunsets, amazing landscapes, nice company and the possibility to choose your personal route, according to winds and sea currents.
If you love the ocean and want to live a new experience, our sailing boat could become your “floating house”for a while. Furthermore you will also discover new places and cultures.
You will also have the chance to practice all the activities you want, as snorkeling, fishing, or just laying down sunbathing and relaxing.

Location and Destination Guide

Usually this boat operates around Fort De France, MQ.

The Windward Islands are for many the favored destination for their Caribbean sailing vacations. The calm trade winds, tropical rainforests, and quiet anchorages make these islands the ideal winter getaway. Set sail on a Martinique catamaran day tour and enjoy an adventure with a French flair, or go sailing St Vincent and the Grenadines and have fun hopping from island to island. A Grenada yacht charter is a great nautical experience both for beginners and experienced skippers. Read more below!

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
