Am I qualified to rent a boat?

At Sailo, we are very concerned about safety. Therefore, every renter must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age

2. Have a current and valid ID

3. Possess a mobile phone so that you can be reached through messaging.

Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?

No, all Sailo boats are captained by experienced and licensed boaters who will ensure the maximum enjoyment for you and your guests.

How do I become a renter?

In order to be able to rent on Sailo, you would need to create an account and complete verification by going to Personal Profile > Verification. A verified email address is required for bookings. It also allows our staff to securely communicate with you regarding your account.

How do I search for boats?

To search for a boat, go to sailo.com and enter the location for which you wish to rent a boat. To make the results more customized, you may also specify start and end date of your rental, as well as the number of people (boaters) expected aboard a vessel. By pressing the Search button, you will be able to see the list of all available vessels according to your search filters. To further customize your search, you may use any of the following filters located on the left hand-side of the page: boat type (sail, power or electric), length, price per day and/or fuel economy.
