In order to be listed on Sailo, the Owner must possess, keep and provide Documentation of Ownership and/or a valid copy of the Boat's Registration (and any other legally required documentation) on board the boat at all times.
BackThe Owner is required to maintain and keep the proof of insurance (‘Proof of Insurance’) on board at all times. In the event of an accident, Sailo may also require that Owners be able to access their insurance policy information electronically and email a copy of the information to other parties involved. Moreover, the Sailo Insurance Policy, available through Sailo, shall cover damage and liabilities in the amount stated by the Boat Owner or the actual paid cash value, whichever is the lesser. Third party liability provided by Sailo shall not exceed $1,000,000 combined single limit. Medical payments are not covered. To report a claim the Owner should contact concierge@sailo.com within 18 hours of the incident.
