A memory book to note your happy moments. No shoes are allowed on board, just bring your sneakers or walking shoes for land cruising.

Gulets do not permit guests to bring pets on board for several reasons. Crew is required to maintain rigid cleanliness standards for all their guests and there is a potential of allergens from animal remaining on board. Animals are typically not accustomed to the strict confinement of a ship and an active cruising can be quite uncomfortable for pets. Just like humans, animals can also be sensitive to the effects of motion and may become disoriented or lethargic.

Location and Destination Guide

Usually this boat operates around Zadar, HR.

Zadar has earned its cool stripes in recent years, mostly by being the venue of many music festivals in the summer months. When you’re done partying, Zadar is a great place to explore the sea and jump on a boat trip or pick up a yacht charter. This part of the Dalmatian Coast is packed full of stunning islands, with many of them much quieter than the popular south of the region.

If Dubrovnik is where the cruise ships dock, Zadar is where those looking for something a bit different go. To show how quirky Zadar is, you just need to look at some of the waterfront features; including the sea organ, a harmonica that is played by the lapping of the waves on the shore. There’s also a solar powered public dancefloor, right on the water’s edge.

But that’s not all... Zadar is also home to a well preserved Roman forum, a Venetian fortress and some Byzantine architecture too. So even history buffs will find lots to add to their itinerary in Zadar.

And for some other things to do in Zadar, the city also has three of Croatia’s best national parks on its doorstep. Krka is probably the pick of the bunch, with the incredible seven cascades waterfall. Looking out to sea, there are plenty of islands and stunning Dalmatian coastline to explore from Zadar town. Just by standing on the harbourside you’ll be able to see Ugljan Island in the near distance, tempting you to jump in a boat and sail across the strait.

Picking up a yacht charter in Zadar is simple with Sailo. From day trippers to week long sailing excursions, you’ll find plenty of options for boat rental from Zadar. If you’re looking to hit the seas with friends and family, there is a great selection of monohull sailboats or catamarans. What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
