From a quick afternoon jaunt away from the bustle of city streets to a long weekend among the island archipelago of the San Juans, sail wherever the winds or your wishes take you. A finely fitted yacht of 65 feet with capacity for 30 guests, the Schooner is exquisitely furnished in rubbed mahogany, antique stained glass, etched brass and artifacts from world cruising. Porcelain fireplaces highlight the main saloon and great cabin aft in the gracious style of a bygone era. Sail wherever you choose. Cruise Lake Washington and Portage Bay while bridges open for our tall masts; Or venture through the locks to Puget Sound, and north to the stunning San Juan Islands.

The schooner is a fully found blue water yacht capable of cruising anywhere in the world. Outfitting is exquisite with porcelain fixtures, etched brass, antique stained glass and artifacts from the owner's world cruising to highlight the rubbed teak and mahogany woodwork. She carries six guests in three cabins, two with large upper and standard lower berths and one with a queen berth. Below decks is bright - white bulkheads trimmed with Honduras Mahogany. The forward head has a sit-down shower, while the aft head has a soaking tub with shower.

The main saloon with dining table and separate settee for two, seats eight for dinner which can also be enjoyed in the pilot house to better savor the evening air and long twilight.

The galley is equipped to please any chef. It has a large ice cream holding freezer and a commercial refrigerator along with stove, oven, microwave/convection oven and an often used bread maker. The daily creations from this charming space are only limited by our imaginations.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
