Description

Andre, your Captain, and Liezl, your Chef, will work with you to customize all aspects of your vacation, from what to pack to what you will eat and drink and where. When you first board, you will be thrilled by her spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. You will quickly learn that all your day-to-day tasks and chores will be taken care of by your Crew. Everything you have heard about vacationing on a luxury sailboat in the Caribbean is true. It is better than you dreamed of. With a professional and experienced Captain and Chef responsible for everything from safety to entertainment, you’ll be left to sit back and enjoy – to relax with friends and family in a remarkable setting, aboard a spectacular yacht.
Your options for entertainment and relaxation are endless – You can scuba dive and snorkel directly from the boat, venture ashore to explore 60 diverse islands, go kayaking, windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding or tubing. Or, if being active isn’t your idea of a vacation, try tanning on the forward trampolines, fishing, reading, learning to sail, playing board games or floating in the Caribbean Sea aboard the various floating mats and toys.

And the sailing, well, the sailing is perfect. Tortola protects the southern islands from northerly winter swell and the chop is reduced by the short fetch between islands. There is always a calm and comfortable anchorage to be found no matter what the forecast. Couple this with Yes Dear’s size and twin-hull stability and you are ocean sailing in lake-like conditions.

Location and Destination Guide

Usually this boat operates around Road Town, VG.

At Sailo, we love exotic yachting paradises with a relaxed vibe! That’s why we put together our top five favorite things to do by boat in the US Virgin Islands. Choose one of our USVI yacht charters and cruise to Caneel Bay Resort for the evening. Or head to Cruz Bay on one of our boat rentals in USVI and try the famous “Painkiller” cocktail at The Beach Bar. St Thomas sailing charters are the best idea for a shopping jaunt. Hop on a catamaran charter and start sailing your Caribbean dream!

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
