Description

The vessel is a 2016 launched, state-of-the-art 58ft Wave Catamaran. This state of the art catamaran offers 3 queen cabins with ensuite electric head, wash basin and stall showers plus 1 twin cabin with ensuite electric head, wash basin and stall shower. The twin cabin has a filler piece which makes into an oversized king berth. There is a flybridge with seating and a 360-degree view, large trampoline area and spacious aft deck plus a hydraulic swim platform which can be lowered for easy water access.

Décor is very contemporary and there is plenty of natural light throughout the yacht. The accommodation offers charter guests three queen cabins and one twin cabin (which can be converted to an oversized king berth). The ports in the cabins are huge! You will wake to amazing views every morning. Each cabin has its own en-suite electric head, wash basin and stall showers.

The salon has two leather sofas and a high/low table. The windows are panoramic so again, the light is incredible. The cockpit offers al fresco dining and access to the hydraulically-operated swim platform, perfect for easy water access or relaxing with a drink whilst dunking your toes. Also, from the cockpit, there are steps to the flybridge where there is the skipper’s seat plus a sun lounging pad. Forward there are comfy cushions and the trampolines.

This yacht has every luxury including air conditioners through to the powerful dinghy and great selection of water toys. With gourmet food prepared to your preferences from a great crew, you’ll see why the vessel is ideal for your crewed yacht charter in the British Virgin Islands.

Crew

Jacek started his sailing career quite young at the age of 8. As a junior, he raced Optimists, Lasers, 420s, and FJs. As he got older he got into cruising due to his father who was in the yacht brokerage industry. Together as a family, they cruised their Golfstar 41 Ketch all over Florida. His knowledge of the Caribbean expanded while he worked for Virgin Islands Cruising Guide Publications for 10 years. Jacek then became a sailing instructor and climbed the ladder to a regional operations manager within the sailing school. While working for the sailing school, he taught many courses in the Virgin Islands. He has spent the last 10 years travelling the islands. He finally made the leap and moved to the Caribbean in 2016. Using his intimate experiences of the Virgin Islands and local hot spots Jacek delivers a marvellously guided sailing experience. Jacek is a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and speaks Polish, Spanish, and English Maya’s love for water and food comes from her background growing up in the Mediterranean. After living in beautiful (but landlocked) Utah for 14 years, she finally decided to go back to her aquatic roots and made the move to the Caribbean. Pursuing her dream, she moved to the USVI in 2015, and has worked as a yacht chef since. Her passions include cooking, literature, traveling, and music. Maya believes that there is nothing better than gathering friends over plates of great food and seeing their smiles and enjoyment as they eat, talk and relax around the table. Maya looks forward to sharing her culinary passion with you, and making your experience on Sta Ana unforgettable! Maya is STCW certified and speaks Arabic, French, and English Together Jacek and Maya would like to show you the best the islands have to offer!

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
