Extensive recreational boating experience over 35 years in both inland lakes, such as Lake Powell and Lake Mead with large houseboats (50-60ft), speed boats (150-300HP) single and multi engine. Early open water sailing (50ft ketch) and power boat experience in the Mediterranean Sea in and around the waters off the coast of Malta.

Since 2004, own, maintain and sail a Hunter 41 sloop berthed in Marina Del Rey, CA. Coastal cruising from Marina Del Rey to Ensenada Mexico around the clock in clear/calm to heavy seas and also in limited visibility in fog with radar. Frequent sailing between CA mainland and Catalina Island and other points in between.
