U.S.C.G. 100 Ton Master Captain John, has been sailing since he was a young boy. Fascinated by the water John became a United States Navy Diver and went on to become a hyperbaric medical specialist and commercial diver. All the while sailing. Captain John acquired his U.S.C.G 100 Ton Master Captain's license engaging in commercial vessels & private yacht deliveries and Catamaran Charters.

After meeting his wife in La Paz BCS, Mexico he focused on teaching the ASA curriculum to his students above and beyond to prepare them to accomplish their life long dreams and goals of cruising the world with confidence and skills needed for success. Never forgetting to appreciate the beauty and wonders of the sea along the way.

Captain & Master Instructor John continues to teach many of the certifications offered by ASA to new sailors, inspiring new instructors and aiding with sailing schools current instructors competency and readiness to teach at a higher level to better uphold the schools high standard of learning with the curriculum ASA provides.
