Description

Our yacht is perfect for birthday, wedding proposals, meetings, tours and special occasion celebrations in Boston Harbor. It is the perfect venue to celebrate life’s most memorable moments. Let us help you plan a customized celebration for you and your friends.

It is a semi-custom 2017 Sabre Yacht 38 salon Express that was designed for luxury and discriminating owners. Her materials and finishes were chosen for their classic looks and rich feel. The Sabre 38 Salon Express represents the latest in design and naval architecture. Her exterior profile says “Downeast” and she is built in the tradition of Maine boat building: elegant, strong, steady, reliable and seaworthy.

The interior of the Sabre 38 Salon Express is an open design which suits a day’s outing with friends as easily as it does a longer cruise. Her cockpit is raised to a level just 5 inches below the main salon so as to connect these two important social spaces, and the aft end of the house opens with a drop-down window and a swing door. The cockpit has an automatic Sureshade which can be opened on those hot summer days to provide relief from the sun.

In her main salon, a raised, U-shaped settee with fixed table comfortably seats six. The forward end of the settee can be oriented forward to provide a comfortable mate’s seat when underway. To starboard, aft of the standard Stidd helm seat is a long cabinet housing an LED television and extensive storage compartments and bar as well as a beverage refrigerator.

On the lower level are a master stateroom with island berth and an en-suite head with shower. A functional galley is located to port and within easy reach and sight of the main salon. The galley has Corian counters, a two burner stove, convection microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer and espresso machine. Below the helm deck, to port, is the lower lounge with TV.

All of the interior seating is luxurious Ultra Leather and the wood is American Cherry. The boat is climate controlled with air conditioning and heat. There is a large opening sunroof to let in natural light and the back of the boat opens up to let cool ocean air into the salon. It is equipped with the latest Garmin electronic suite that includes 2 color touchscreen chart plotters, depth sounder, radar, AIS, VHF radio, auto-pilot, Sirius weather radar and Sirius Satellite radio coupled with a Fusion marine stereo system throughout the boat. It is featured with all USCG safety equipment to ensure a worry-free cruise.

FAQs

What type of yacht should I charter?

No matter what type of yacht you choose to charter, we know that you will have a fantastic time on the water. If you are more about the journey, and want a relaxing time aboard, then choose from one of the many sailboats on the platform. If you are more about the destination, and going fast, check out the powerboats on Sailo. For an exclusive experience, Sailo recommends chartering a luxurious yacht for the day. Finally, Sailo has access to many event boats as well for group outings from 50 - 1,000 guests. If you are still unsure, then just ask! more...

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, and some comfortable clothes suitable to the season you are going to be out on the water. Please keep in mind that it is often 10 degrees cooler out on the water, so a jacket or windbreaker is never a bad idea. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as a swimsuit if appropriate for your charter location. Please coordinate with your captain regarding any food or drinks that you wish to bring aboard. For term-charters, Sailo recommends using soft-sided luggage, and keeping it simple. more...

How long does a rental last?

The basic daily rental is structured as either a quarter-, half-, or full-day. A quarter-day is two hours, a half-day is four hours, and a full-day is eight hours. You can also discuss a custom trip with the boat by contacting the owner through Sailo. Most term charters (weekly rentals) are from Saturday to Saturday. Keep in mind that the boat generally needs to be back at the dock by Friday evening, and you will need to be off the boat on Saturday morning so they can prepare the boat for the next guests. more...
